The artist who has taken the image of the landscape of where they have include the dirt road of the valley with no people nor object in the image frame. This shows that the composition of the image is an eye level image with no subject as it shows the land of the valley that is shown. The relationship between the photographer and the landscape is that there may not have been anything since they have nothing in relations since they just only have the landscape with no means to it. It can be seen due to the lack of any objects in the image as it would only show the rocky road in the photo.
In the photo we can see that the image has a white and blue background which can be seen to make a makeshift cloudy blue skin with having a cow-boy riding his hoarse new to the right side of the photo. The relationship between the subject and the photographer is that they had to time the to get horse in the frame. Between them they are to get have a good one since getting the horse in the frame whilst it is moving would be quite hard to get the timing right. The composition of the photo in an eye-level. This gives the photo a levelled look to the photo.

Liz Nielsen is an American photographer who's based Brooklyn. Her works are often made from not using a camera some can describe it as an art that uses light to paint. In the photo I can see that she has taken out the colour and the other focus in the original one as it would might have more objects in it. She has cut out black paper and one showed the out line of the important like as we can see it was the outline of a bush and some garden tools like a bucket and maybe some tools like cutting tools. The surprising thing about it is that we can know what it is be just looking at it from looking at it. When I first saw the image I was interested as it was different the what I was normally see like in a photogram or in a film photo. In the way of making that type of photo is to look at an image that i have taken before and to look out for the objects that is making the image pop more, for example the bigger trees or the house that can be seen. I think the reason why she has taken how the other parts of the photo and only took in some parts is to show how one some parts on the image is much more them it seems to be.

The artist Geraldo has a vast style from going abstract photography to modular style through out his time doing photography . In the image all we can see it hat he has decided to cut out the main focus for him which was the tree and to put on to a blank piece of black paper. The surprising thing was that he has only chose one thing to focus on and not many to do at the same time. As it can be overwhelming to have too many things going one in an image. Not only that but it shows how something so simple can have a big focus for some people like Geraldo. This canto the linked to the reason why I think that he had removed the other objects like the sky or the ground. This would make me feel question why he have chosen to do that he did even when only focusing one particular object like the tree.

In the we have done an experiment for see how it would be as an photogram since it it was on the paper where is had done the cutting and sticking onto the white piece of paper. As a class we made a positive and not a negative which is why I can see that the white part is more graining with a gradient of a grey scale to them. The light intensity was 5.6 with having the light flash on to paper for about 5 seconds. We can see that there is a line of where there is a split of the different shades of grey from a light grainy grey do a deep darker grey.
|
These two were the testers since they can show the two I wanted to do. They had the same light intensity was 5.6. In the first photo we can see that is it a little dark since I left the light longer for about 7 seconds whilst in the other image next to it. The back of the photo has a slight swirl where its has a light grey blended into a more darker grey which I liked a lot from it. This is due to the light exposed on the paper for about 5 seconds with the same light intensity as the 7 seconds one as well. So which is why I have chosen to do that.

In the video Dafna Talmor she talks about creating a utopian landscape that she could only create through cutting and replacing from the acetate that she uses. She also explore that there is an endless of possibilities that she could make a new scene though the making of the the acetate that she has made through the coloured-paper. She hopes that the reconstruction of and refill in space that there would be a personal connections along with the feeling to them.

Drafts from Dionne Lee on Vimeo. |
In the video Dionne Lee show us a process on where she would make a construction landscape through the tear and cut the image that she's got. Each time she make a collage they would have to compacted together which I think does not looks niceShe would have a set of images of landscape where would would have some of space or some with just land with a stream of water. I think it was unhinged since some of the images did not go well with each other whilst others did not match the vibes of the other images. Some of the constructed landscape does look nice but I do not like how she make it too overwhelming with all the different photo on top of each other.

In this video I am making a response to how she would tear and cut images with landscape to make another landscape through construction. I would tear the paper to give it the jagged edge to them at put them on to the side of the paper where it has not been teared. In the original video of Dionne Lee it was quite boring as it was just her and the photo with no music not an explanation for what they was doing. So in my video I decided to put lofi music in the background as some people have music to fill in the void of not listening to any type of music.

The reason why I have chosen this photo to analyse is that there is a 3D look to it. The 3D looks to the photo make the photo look more alive than a still image. It has an image in the background that may have been a garden or maybe in a park where it is over filled with nature with the hint of bright light in the top corner of where the sun could have been reflecting against the camera lens. Another reason is the plant that is place on top on the image to give it more of live that the photo may have lost when taken. As the would be a reason why he uses flowers since he lived in Hackney where he would take photos but also he used the seed flowers, and berries that he found in Hackney where he found his own way of showing the area the he lived in. As there was a mix of humour of where he could lift up the ordinary day to day photos. Especially when the flowers add more meaning to them as the original photos did not a significant meaning to them till he had add the flowers.

This is the process as where the over laying the photo would be easy to do. The process would be that to have a background image of where you would not do anything done to it. The have a a second image of where you would have change the opacity on the image. The process was an a easy as the only hard part was choosing the photos that would go well together.
